I’m Samuel, but feel free to call me Sam. Since my early childhood I am passionate by games. When I first got in contact with QBasic, at age 15, I knew I would be a game programmer. Since then, the most exciting topic went from “the game I am playing most” to “the game project I am currently working on”, either being it a professional or personal project.
Fortunately, after more than 10 years as a professional, I was lucky several times in finding great teams to work with, making this dream a reality while working on projects that deserved each cup of coffee beyond the recommended healthy levels.
In terms of game programming fields, I could work with many engines, languages and topics, being the strongest experiences those with engine, gameplay, AI, rendering and UI programming and the not so strong, but still meaningful experiences in network and backend programming. Also, I am experienced and committed on technical leading and I am looking forward to have further experiences as lead programmer.
When I am not programming, there is no way to hide my passion about dancing. While Argentine tango dancing has been my main focus of study over many years, in Brazil and in Buenos Aires, I could get some amazing years on Irish dancing and Flamenco, with minor experiences on theater, ballroom, tap and jazz dancing.
Thanks for passing by! If you get in contact, I will be pleased no matter the topic!
